Takes After is a free tool made for fun. Its results are an automated estimate of facial similarity between photos. They are not a genetic, medical, or paternity test, and must not be used as evidence of parentage, identity, or relationship. We make no promise that results are accurate.

Your photos

You may only use photos that you have the right to use. For photos of children, you must be the parent or legal guardian, or have a parent's permission. For photos of other adults, you need their permission. Photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. You keep all rights in your photos and in the share cards you create.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to harass, deceive, or harm anyone, to attempt to identify strangers, or to break the law. Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service in ways that harm it or other users.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
